Upon invitation from the President of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands, a three-member Curia delegation led by the President of the Curia of Hungary paid an official visit to The Hague on 8-10 September 2019 with the aim of deepening the bilateral professional ties between the supreme judicial forums of the two countries.
Dr. Péter Darák, President of the Curia of Hungary, attended the annual conference of the European Environmental Law Forum in Utrecht, the Netherlands, on 28-30 August 2019.
The conference addressed the issues of circular economy, climate change, water resource management, sustainable biodiversity and facilitating access to courts to improve the enforcement of sustainability.

Information on the judgment given by the Curia of Hungary in case no. Pursuant to a motion for remedy filed by the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, the lawfulness of the placement of the Viking Sigyn ship captain under criminal supervision (case no.
