The Curia’s consultative body examining foreign exchange loan contracts does not deal with individual cases and does not serve as a means for the unification of the courts’ case-law, but rather adopts resolutions – told the spokesperson of the Civil Department of the Curia of Hungary in an interview given to the Hungarian radio station InfoRádió on 11 July 2019. In the radio’s legal programme entitled Paragrafus (the Hungarian equivalent of the term paragraph), Dr. Katalin Simon-Gombos explained that these resolutions play an important role in helping judges deal with individual cases.
