The Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union held its latest Colloquium and General Assembly on 9-11 November 2023 in Vienna. Upon invitation from Dr. Elisabeth Lovrek, President of the Supreme Court of Austria, Dr. András Zs. Varga, President of the Curia and Dr. Judit Gyarmathy, Secretary General of the Curia also attended the event.

On 18-19 October 2023, it was already the fifth time that the German Federal Administrative Court and the Curia held their traditional seminar for judges, which takes place biannually at alternating venues. This year, Prof. Dr. Andreas Korbmacher, President of the German Supreme Administrative Court, and his delegation came to Budapest at the invitation of Prof. Dr. András Zs. Varga, President of the Curia.

The CEELI (Central and Eastern European Law Initiative) Institute, the coordinating body of the Conference of Chief Justices of Central and Eastern Europe, has – this year – invited the Chief Justices of Central and Eastern Europe and their representatives to an online meeting.

At the invitation of Dr. Petr Angyalossy, President of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic, Prof. Dr. András Zs. Varga, President of the Curia, and Dr. Judit Gyarmathy, Secretary General of the Curia, participated in a solemn international conference on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the existence of the Supreme Court of the independent Czech Republic in Brno on 14-15 September 2023.
