The world’s biggest international lawyers’ association held its congress in Budapest in 2016

The international rules on data protection in a digital universe and the fight against money laundering and corruption, i.e. the challenges and opportunities of the compliance system – these were the two main themes of the Budapest congress that took place on 28-31 October 2016 with the participation of jurists, lawyers, judges and legal scholars from all over the world. The International Association of Lawyers (Union Internationale des Avocats, UIA – www.uianet.org) held its annual congress in Hungary.

Official visit of the Curia’s delegation to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia

At the invitation of Mr. Branko Masleša, President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia, a Curia delegation led by Dr. Péter Darák, President of the Curia paid a visit to Ljubljana to discuss the details of the co-operation between the two countries’ supreme judicial forums.
