Mr. Péter DARÁK, President of the Curia of Hungary convoked the Plenary Session of Curia judges on the 18th of January 2016 to commemorate the 190th anniversary of the birth of famous Hungarian jurist Mr. Károly CSEMEGI who drafted Hungary’s first Criminal Code.
Dublin, the capital of Ireland hosted the seventh annual meeting of the Network of the Presidents of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union on 27 November 2015. The Curia’s delegation, led by Hungarian Chief Justice Dr. Péter Darák was also present at the conference.
The Curia’s internet website has recently been remodelled and given a new design. From planning to realisation, the process of renewal took approximately ten months.
The remodelling has covered both the Hungarian and English language forms of the Curia’s webpage as well as its version for people with visual impairments.
The Croatian island of Brijuni served as the venue of the 2015 Conference of the Chief Justices of Central and Eastern Europe on which the Curia was represented by a judicial delegation led by Chief Justice Dr. Péter Darák.
Between 15 and 20 September 2015, Mr. Bui Ngoc Hoa, Vice-President of the Supreme People’s Court of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and his delegation paid an official visit to Hungary on the basis of a cooperation agreement concluded between the highest instance judicial forums of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Hungary.
