A five-member Chinese judicial delegation led by Mr. Li Shaoping, Vice-President of the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China paid an official visit to the Curia between 8 and 12 July 2015 on the invitation of Hungarian Chief Justice Dr. Péter Darák. The Chinese delegation met and held discussions with the judicial leaders of the Curia, visited the National Office for the Judiciary and met the presidents of the Budapest Surroundings High Court and the District Court of Szentendre.

In the joint organisation of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Curia, a judicial seminar focusing on the current situation and the future of administrative procedural law was held in the premises of the Curia on 28-29 May 2015 with the participation of the judges of the Administrative and Labour Department of the Curia as well as the academic collaborators of different faculties of law and the Institute for Legal Studies of the Research Centre for Social Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

Mr. Péter DARÁK, President of the Curia of Hungary convoked the Plenary Session of Curia judges on the 11th of May 2015 which was held in the assembly hall of the former Palace of Justice (the building currently houses the Museum of Ethnography) in Kossuth Square. During his official visit to Hungary, Mr. Jean Daoud Fahed, President of the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Lebanon met and held discussions with dr. Péter Darák, President of the Curia on 23 April 2015.

Between 12 and 14 April 2015, Mr. Branko Maslesa, President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia and his delegation paid an official visit to Hungary on the invitation of dr. Péter Darák, President of the Curia.

During his visit to Budapest, the Slovenian Chief Justice held discussions with the management of the Curia and met the President and Vice-President of the Budapest High Court.
