On the invitation of the Curia and the Budapest Bar Association, Prof. Dr. Dr.h.c. Gerd Brudermüller, Head of the Family Law Panel of the Regional Appellate Court of Karlsruhe, paid a visit to Budapest and was received by the Curia on 13 November 2014 to deliver a private lecture on the German matrimonial property law. The invited lecture participants were given a comprehensive presentation on the different matrimonial property regimes and were in particular informed about the legal background of and the case-law related to the property regime of the community of accrued gains.
On the same day, Prof. Brudermüller also held a presentation on the same topic at the Budapest Bar Association. The video recording of this presentation is expected to be uploaded to http://www.bpugyvedikamara.hu.
