International tax law conference in Cambridge with the participation of tax judges from five continents

Dr. Péter Darák, President of the Curia of Hungary, attended the annual assembly and conference of the International Association of Tax Judges (IATJ) in Cambridge on 13-14 September 2019.

The conference, which was attended by tax judges from five continents, discussed the various tax and penalties regimes, the tax procedures, legal reasoning in tax cases, the role of soft law in tax adjudication, and recent case law on partnerships and beneficial ownership.

The 2020 year IATJ annual conference will be hosted by the Curia of Hungary in Budapest.
