The Supreme Court of Latvia, the Supreme Court of Lithuania, the Supreme Court of Spain, the Curia of Hungary, the University of Antwerp and the University of Ljubljana – jointly participating in a project entitled “Supreme courts as guarantees for the effectiveness of judicial systems in the European Union”, co-funded by the European Union – held the project’s last study visit at the Supreme Court of Spain on 15-17 February 2017 with the participation of the Curia’s two-member delegation.
At the study visit, the Curia was represented by Ms. Magda Józan, Head of the Press Secretariat of the Curia and by Mr. Csaba Tombor, Trainee Judge at the Administrative and Labour Department of the Curia.
The participants of the study visit discussed some of the topics of the project’s questionnaire, including research and documentation units, and the supreme courts’ communicational activities, in addition, they held a roundtable discussion on the supreme courts’ relations with lower instance courts, as well as with European and international courts.
