A Curia delegation led by the Deputy Heads of the Administrative Chamber received, on 9 April 2026, the delegation of the election observation mission of the international organization Liberty Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (LCFFE).
At the meeting, the representatives of the Curia – Dr. Kálmán Sperka and Dr. Tamás Sugár, Deputy Heads of Chamber, Dr. Gábor Remes, Head of Panel, and Dr. Ádám Miklós Balássy, Director – presented the jurisdiction of the Curia and provided an overview of the procedure and practice of electoral adjudication, with particular regard to the different types of cases and the caseload data from previous years. They then outlined the legal framework governing electoral cases, the comparison of which made it possible to highlight several relevant practical experiences.
The consultation provided a constructive framework for the exchange of experiences and for reviewing the related institutional approaches.
