A delegation from the Curia, led by President Prof. Dr. András Zs. Varga, participated in a judicial seminar between Hungary’s supreme judicial forum and Germany’s Federal Administrative Court – a traditional biennial meeting – held on 3-5 December 2025 in Leipzig.

This year’s event was hosted by Prof. Dr. Andreas Korbmacher, President of the German Federal Administrative Court.

During the working sessions, the Curia’s three-member delegation and German administrative judges focused on the application of digitalization and artificial intelligence in administrative proceedings, discussed current challenges in asylum and refugee rights, and examined present developments in the right of assembly and experiences in consumer protection proceedings. By sharing best practices used in handling litigation and ensuring the uniform application of law, the seminar contributed to the deepening of the Hungarian-German supreme administrative judicial cooperation.
