It is for the third time that the Curia of Hungary organised a working breakfast for the ambassadors accredited to Hungary to provide first-hand information on the most important events and tasks affecting the supreme judicial forum. This year’s meeting took place on 6 March.
Dr. Gábor Remes, Deputy Secretary General of the Curia informed the ambassadors about the Curia’s 2024 activities in respect of the adjudication of election cases.
Dr. András Zs. Varga, President of the Curia reported, in his presentation, on the process and results of the negotiations between the courts and the Ministry of Justice on the issue of the judicial salary adjustment. He stressed that the Curia continues to support that the salary regime introduced by the Curia be followed by other courts as well, or the salaries of judges be further increased in other forms.
